fonts???
 
what are fonts..and have i done a bad thing by erasing half of them and if i shouldn't have done that..how do i get them back? It is a subfile under shared files...along with another thing i don't understand...WINNT..which has nothing in it.

Fonts are the way your PC displays the alphanumeric characters on your monitor screen or prints out on your printer, i.e. A - Z (a - z) and 0 - 9. Deleting then limits your PC to what it can display and is definately a very bad idea.

How do you get them back, well they could be in your recycle bin if you have not emptied it yet or you could do a google search for your O/Ss fonts and replace them that way. May be other forum members may have other ideas but one thing for sure do not delete anything from your HD unless you know what it is.
