![]() When a download is complete on some MP3's, the "Kind" column indicates the the item is either a "document" or a "Limewire 18c document" both of which will not open or work with the latest version of stuffit expander. Does anyone know how to open these items? thanks! |

![]() mp3 s will not open with stuffit expander, they are a audio compressed format and you dont need to expand them, they will play on any mp3 player, like itunes, macast, soundapp, etc. you may also convert an mp3 to other audio formats , like aiff (with soundapp or itunes) to burn cds that will play on any cd player. |

![]() Try changing the file name to end with .mp3 -- QuickTime will change the attributes of the file so an MP3 player can recognize the file. I found this works in my case. If that doesn't work this thread talks about other fixes: <http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...&threadid=3294> |

![]() Thanks true star warrior, efield and those guests that responded. File Buddy works very well. 90 % of the files converted and by re-downloading the same MP 3 from the same sites the result was sucessful......thanks again to all of you. |
