 launching limewire on my g4 mac i recently downloaded limewire 2.1.1 for my g4 mac os9.1. whenever i try to launch it, everything is fine until the search window opens, then the computer freezes. this has happened on 9 out of ten attempts. then on the the forced reboot, as disc first aid scans the hard drive it tells me it is making repairs and this takes about one minute. i have tried launching from both the desktop alias and the actual application, this makes no apparent difference. what is going on?  |
