All my shared audio files are gone! I just downloaded the new 2.1 version of limewire. In the process of moving the new file to a different location, a message popped up asking me if I wanted to replace the existing file with the new one. I clicked "yes" and not only did it replace, but all my previously downloaded shared audio files disappeared! Is there any way to retrieve these audio files back or do I have to re-download everything again?? Why didn't these files move with the new update? HELP!! |

In reply to "efield's" comment, my shared folder of the old version is simply gone. This happened after I moved the new version to the location where my old version was. I didn't delete anything and there wasn't anything in my trash. I searched my drive for those files and they weren't found. I play my music through Mac's iTunes and though the songs are part of iTunes library, the mp3 files lived in Limewire's shared folder. If I click on one of those songs to play on iTunes, it now tells me that song file cannot be found. |
