![]() Hi I am running a 600mhz iMac with OS 9.2.2 and 256 megs of RAM. I have Limewire 2.2 (and have had this same problem with previous releases). I have the most current release of iTunes (if that matters). Every time Limewire is the active program and I click the apple menu or the finder menu, Limewire crashes and I get a "Type 2" error. I have been getting around this by clicking the desktop first and then pulling down those menus, but occasionally I forget and crash the program. I like the Limewire program overall, but I do not like not being able to pull down the menus. My e-mail address is peeweejd@yahoo.com |

![]() Go here: http://www.limewire.com/index.jsp/faqs#com6 to see the workaround for this problem. I noticed it while looking for the answer to my own problem. Incidentally the same procedure Limewire describes is also recommended on Apple's own support site, as being appropriate to any Java app using MRJ 2.2.5. |
