Everytime i launch Limewire the application starts normally, it appears the pop-up asking to upgrade, than whatever i try to do, the interface react really slow (menu appears late, the cursor starts flashing after a while) than the application crashes.. Can anyone help?? Thank you very much!

I have the same problem! My LimeWire interface is VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY SLOW! I don't know what to do, I was very happy when I discovered LimeWire for Mac but now I'm sad again 'cause I won't be able to share files like all my friends do; probably my fault is having bought a Mac and not a Microsoft hardware. I ask all the possible help from the LimeWire developers, because we had and we still believe in YOU, the only that can make our web-dreams come true. Thanx a lot for reading

As been mentioned again and again, and again... this has to do with a bug related to memory. LW eats up a whole lot of RAM (up to 90 MB), and when it starts eating up your RAM, it naturally slows down. So you either
1. allow LW access to more RAM, or
2. if you haven't got enough RAM (128 MB is not enough!), buy more, or
3. keep complaining to the programmers so that they'll start doing something about it.

It'll help if you read some of the previous threads before you add one. Usually, you'll get some sort of answers. And it helps the rest of us from getting yet another new thread that moans about something we've already done before.
