new version is giving me problems.....
 

okey heres whats up.......i recently downloaded basic limewire 2.2.1 and for the most part it works pretty good except for one thing. slowly all the images in the window begin to dissapear. first the little lime in the corner dissapears then the buttons and tabs go away, but the words are still there. eventually it turns into a bigger mess where i cant swtich between my search screens, as well as other screens like my library and connections and such or else ill have screens on top of screens and words all mixed everywhere. sometimes ill get a blank grey or white screen. furthermore, when i enter a new search nothing comes up, not even a tab indicating that i have another search. what the heck is goin on??? ive tried reinstalling and it hasnt gotten better. what should i do???? do i have a faulty version of this or should i just get a new comp :-P

It's a RAM Issue (Limewire's NOT Yours!)
 

What you are describing is what happens when a program starts using more memory than it's supposed to (and still isn't enough to satisfy it). There is literally not enough RAM left to draw the windows or your desktop pic (if you've got one).

See the thread on memory issues for more discussion. Frankly this is pathetic ... from everyone's experiences it seems the new version won't run smoothly unless it's assigned about 100MB RAM. Good thing there is a Mac version of Morpheus on the way.
