Can't Play Lime Wire songs on iPod Nano

Just signed up for Lime Wire Pro, and bought a 16GB iPod Nano. I downloaded numerous Lime Wire audio files. They successfully downloaded to a file in my iPod, called Recordings. From the iPod, I see no way to locate/play these downloaded songs. When the iPod is plugged into my PC, all songs appear in the Recordings section(on the screen of my PC). What do I need to do to get Lime Wire songs to play on my iPod Nano? Thanks!

since your purchase obviously did not include a manual, I suggest Googling to find one...

OK, I read the manual, and still can't download to my iPod. Now what? I've spent many hours trying to figure out what should be a simple procedure. If I don't get it today, I'll simply return the iPod, and get a refund on my LimeWire Pro.

perhaps someone with direct experience with an iPod will step in...I refuse to use them for 'political' reasons...

the only thought that comes to my mind is that the songs you acquired are in the wrong format for the iPod to play...
