1) .sit files. You can go to all the trouble of fixing creator/file type, or just drag and drop to the icon of StuffIt Expander. It doesn't matter if it is a "Limewire document". If Expander can't unpack the file, then trash it. 2) for mp3's: get "iTunes Associator" at versiontracker.com. Freeware. End of story. |

Limewire documents..will not open Hi..I haven't seen this adressed specifically: when I download huge files of music software such as Pro Tools, etc. they come up as "Limewire documents", as everyone else in the responses above have been saying. I just want to know if anyone knows what I'm supposed to DO with these files (such as :"56 Pro Tools plugins"!!) after they've been downloaded! Many of them don't have any suffixes or anything to tell you what kind of a file it IS!! I'm good at my software, but these kinds of problems are baffling for me...dropping them into Stuffit works only sometimes...do I need some kind of converter to see these files?? And what do I do with them to get them to work with the app. I downloaded them for?? HHEELLPP!!! I'm very frustrated at my own ignorance! Thanks, in advance! Pawsmusicprod |
