Default Getting stuff into library

After downloading, a musical selection is marked "complete" but it does NOT automatically go into my library. Why, and how can I rectify this?

Go to tools>options>saving and check which directory (folders) your files are stored. That's where you'll find the stuffs you've downloaded. You can of course change the directory if you so wish.

Question Could not move to library

I have the same problem, I downloaded a very large file (333mb). The file is complete, but the status reads "Could not move to library". Is this a application memory problem?

G'day from Oz.

I assume your'e library is separate from your downloads folder (whatever it's called).

Files are downloaded to an adjoining 'Incomplete' folder, and are only marked as 'complete' AFTER they have been moved to your downloads folder. This is actually handy. I let them accumulate there, then I open the folder, double-click each file one to open & check it, and have it recognized by the player eg. iTunes, then drop each one on a series of aliases I keep in the same folder, such as 'Temp downloads','Scotts downloads',' Traceys downloads', etc.

That way I just shoot them off to the appropriate place, and the destinations are all in my shared iTunes folder.

That means I don't share tunes until I've checked and sorted them.

Regards

Brian Christmas
