 I'm happy, for now, with iTunes 2 but I also prefer LW 1.7 (which didn't have a player) over any of the more recent LW's (including LW 2.3.3 Pro) I'm guessing that you don't like iTunes or iTunes 2(?) There are several other Mac mp3 players available; some are free (basic) like iTunes; but if you want to be able to create special sound tweaks or make your own (special) mixes, you will likely have to pay for a player and the extra features.
