player config probems. I was spoiled with the older version of Limewire. I'm running on Mac OS 9.2 and I used to click on the 'Launch' button or just double click on mp3s, mpgs, whatever and my default players, itunes or quicktime, would start. Now, on LW 2.2.4 when I do this nothing happens. Sure I can get around it by opening the player first, converting the files through the player app but it seems like a whole lot of extra steps I didn't have to take before. Also, I'm not sure if this by design but there is no Limewire player in options listed under tools, nor is a player option reflected under the library tab. Is this a Mac specific thing or is a re-install recommended here? |

launch works haphazardly I have had the same problem. Sometimes I'm able to launch a preview mid-download (I'm on a modem line, so a mid-download preview is very important) but now hitting launch does nothing. I'm on Mac OS 9.2.2, and the first version of Limewire did this much better. Now some of the documents I download won't play at all, especially MPGs. What's the deal? |
