how to play MP's

Hi. I'm new to Limewire. Trouble playing MP's. Installation and downloading seemed to work but "launching" tunes doesn't, i.e. nothing happens when I press LAUNCh button. Also my Limewire window is not as complete as the one in your tutoriel in "libraries" section. I'm missing at the bottom a window called "MP Play List" and buttons at lower right corner to play etc. Any idea what's going on???

i am having the exact same problem...i also clicked on the refresh button in the library and about 30 mp3's got deleted...can anyone please help?

Sounds like your mac doesn't have enough memory (RAM). LW kindly (!) does nothing (rather than freeze) when there's not enough memory to launch iTunes or QT.

And as far as vanishing files are concerned, the only thing I can think of is that you've moved the downloaded file to another folder, or you changed your shared folders, or probably you altered the folder/file name, and then you refreshed. LW will consider the files "gone" on refresh unless the files (and the folder in which the files are) are in exactly the same condition.
