Question cannot dounload mac LW

Whenever I dounload limewire for my mac I get a message that says "the .zip file is corrupt, contact the maker for a new copy" when trying to run the installer. I have re-tryed 5 times now and each time the exact same thing has heppened. I know my mac can run limewire because I used to have an older version but I deleted to get 2.3. Anyone eles have this error or know what to do? Its really agravating me

The Mac LimeWire is not in '.zip' format, it's in '.sit' format. Are you sure you're not downloading a PeeeCeee version?

Try this link below:

http://www.limewire.com/index.jsp/download

Look for the Mac O.S download.
You will need stuffit Expander to extract the file. You can find Stuffit Expander here:

What do you mean all you had to do was give it more memory?????? I too am running 8.6 and whenever i try to install the new version of the Mac Os upgrade i get the zip.file error. How did you up the memory was it on the installer or the stuffit expander or the software itself

on the installer. If you aready know how do do that then there is no nead to read on, but what ypou do is first go to get info on the installer. Then go to the memory catigory and make the preferd siese much higher. 1000 is what worked for me.
