Zeropaid caught lying about user stats

Zeropaid.com has been caught lying time after time to the p2p community.

First we hear about how Chris Hedgecock (the owner of ZP) actually works for DIGITAL RIGHTS MANAGEMENT and sell's his users IP addresses to the RIAA and calls P2P'rs "PIRATES"...

http://www.avnonline.com/issues/2003...0403_003.shtml

Quote:

Christopher Hedgecock, executive vice president of EmpireDRM (www.empiredrm.com), recommended Webmasters visit sites like ZeroPaid.com and subscribe to newsletters like DRMDaily (www.drmdaily.com) to familiarize themselves with the concepts behind P2P networks and their popularity, and then begin transforming their content into material that will promote their businesses and make them money even if it's stolen and traded on the big commercial networks. By flooding P2P networks with DRM-protected content that forces out the illegal "free" stuff, Webmasters can head off file swappers at the pass, creating a sort of "pay-to-peer" network,
(Notice that Chris Hedgecock is also the owner of Zeropaid.com. Here's a picture and proof that he's the owner of ZP)

Today, ZP was caught once again lying about their user stats in an article printed at http://p2pforum.com

Bullshit!

A stupid post by a user is no proof!

I explained you this some time ago... the site zeropaid exists for 4 years but not the forums... they changed it I think two years ago. They started a new clean forum without any posts but OF COURSE with their userbase...

Please next time come with something what you can proof!

Well ES5 has arms everywhere don't they? These (biased) accusations are fuel for more flamewars (again). Let's protect gnutellaforums.com from them!

Ciao

Hmm...

I think we should give ALL people the oppurtunity to say what they want to say - free speech is important in a free world.

And if someone tries to flame I will use my magic. ;)

You just answered what was in the article.

6 months ago, in a thread by Sharepro from ES5, he pointed out that ZP had 170,000 forum members. He also noted a pattern in the way the accounts were opened, specifically the "birthday accounts".

Today, 6 months later, ZP has only grown 10,000 members.

So how do you explain that?

That is what the article in http://p2pforum.com was about.

When you say "A stupid post with no proof..." what are you referring to?

Did you even look at the article that I posted? This isnt about ES5. This is about ZP and only ZP trying to hurt p2p networks by spreading Digital Rights Management throughout p2p networks in effort to create pay 2 peer networks. This is about ZP lying about their user stats.
http://www.avnonline.com/issues/200..._0403_003.shtml

So that is a lie? That article was not written by me, ES5, or the p2p community. So now anybody who reads that article is a liar? Anybody who quotes from that article is a liar? You are going to use your "magic".

Anybody who has any knowledge of ZP knows...

1) ZP installs spyware cookies on peoples computers

2) ZP lies about their user stats

3) ZP is owned and controlled by promoters of Digital Rights Management who are trying to take over free peer 2 peer networks by spreading DRM files to promote PAY 2 PEER

Tell me which one of the above is a lie?

Is this impossible? 10.000 users for a popular site isn“t much and zeropaid is one of the most (if not the most) popular sharing site...

I am referring to the post on your forum you linked to. I saw only accussations without a proof - this is stupid in my eyes...

Perhaps you can give me a direct link I can“t find an article about zeroapid.

Also called tracking cookies, every second website is using them...

2) ZP lies about their user stats
Which is NOT proofen!

Its also not proofen that they are spreading files over the P2P network. And its not bad that they want to create a "legal" sharing platform.

Perhaps you can explain me this:

The article is in German but I hope you will find somebody who can translate it.

Or this here:

In Germany we say: "Don“t throw with stones while you are sitting in a house of glass!"

Also many websites don“t support ES5 anymore, I wonder why?

The next time before you come here and tell us how bad other websites are CLEAN YOUR OWN HOUSE!!!
