for my own knowledge (and i'm engineer, i like to kwnow "what is inside the box"...) i would obtain the anwsers about the here after questions:

1° Liweware, kazaa lite, shareaza are some P2P clients, does the server different depending on the client and network involved ??

2° So, i try kazaa lite and limwire at the same time with the same search question, i don't obtain the same answer, is it normal ?

3°, are they several server for the different network ?

4° (if any) Does the server have an image of the diffrent name of the file on the client pc ?


I have others questions, but i keep it for the dessert.

Limewire and Shareaza connect to the Gnutella network. Shareaza also runs on EDonkey and Bittorent. Kazaa Lite, on Fasttrack.

As they do not connect to the same networks, it's logical.

They are very different in the way the peers connect to each other.

Most programs have a "browse host/user" option.
