HI, I have a great idea that would take away alot of LIMEWIRE user stress and reclaim alot of wasted time. My main complaint and the source of so many others complaints is not getting what we are looking to download because 'TAKERS' behind firewalls prevent SHARING. I thought sharing was the whole point of limewire.....Heres the idea. On the next upgrade include a very big and very obvious button that will prevent uploads to people behind firewalls....thereby gauranteeing that only people who SHARE receive. People behind firewalls are selfish or they are at work and should be working and not downloading!!! AM I RIGHT????

Anyway, you don't want people having unprotected p2p. Many home users would be foolish to turn off their firewalls: they need to be helped to configure them correctly.

Looks like firewall-firewall transfers might be possible soon, and there IS already code that allows those behind firewalls to upload.

you can easily suck all the files you want if you open a port (port forward through your firewall).
Since most people are firewalled, you get all the files because you can use "push" to get a file where the others can't, thus you get it all and they get nothing!

Maybe someone can explain how to configure the Norton Firewall so it doesn't interfere...
