I have downloaded software and I am worried about if I will recive a cease and desist letter. How long before I will recive one? Will I? I just need to know how long I need to be worried. Have you recived a letter? Is it by mail or email?

If they find you they send a letter, as long you didn´t get one they don´t know that you are downloading illegal stuff.

After your first illegal download/upload started you have to be worried.

A cease and desist letter is only a warning, if you get this letter and stop sharing you have nothing to fear.
