Survey: Music and the Internet – University of Frankfurt

Music and the Internet

The University of Frankfurt created a survey to find out more about the consumer’s attitudes and needs concerning downloading and information services on the internet.
Participants are asked to evaluate different downloading services and to state their habits concerning music downloads (via Peer-to-Peer, Websites, etc.) and music reception in general.

The results will be used to describe the impact the internet has on promoting music. A special focus is put on promoting possibilities for young and not yet established musicians.

In order to support this research project we need you to participate at this survey.

The link to the survey is:
www.music-and-the-internet.com

All participants can win 20 free songs at iTunes Music Store!

The survey is only for research purposes and is in no way connected to the music industry or any other industry. All responses are strictly confidential and used anonymously by the researcher.

Sure, just done it. Bummer I can't win the iTunes songs as I'm in Australia.

Good luck with the thesis.

Several days back, Apple announced they were opening iTunes store online for the downunders. I'm still not sure what that means other than legal access rather than usa. But presently the links appear to be usa.

I didn't realise you were a possum sphynx! Which state is that? I wonder if you're in the same forest. lol :D For me it's the Garden state. Lots of green.

BTW I've already done these uni researches re: p2p. I've also done the commercial ones accidentally allowed on the forum. They were accutely directed .... the overall survey becomes questionable as to its ... objectives & intentions. Marketers will try to find any way to communicate with users ... that's their objective. And to find some biased response by a biased questionaire.

garden state you say? :p I'm in that stepchild NYC borough that should have been part of the garden state! I do have ipod-bearing family in Au though, & have a couple of people I speak with down under (time difference permitting).

Whether they use the survey to try to sell stuff to me is pretty much useless. I did use a reply name, but it isn't one I use for friends and family. Unless they are the Chinese government  , I doubt yahoo will hand me over, tg.

Yeah, it's so awesome. The strange thing is that I've been waiting for it for ages and haven't yet used it.

I live in Western Australia.
