I dont mind sharing but there seems to be loads of folk taking from me and its slowing my downloads down, can i limit the the number that download from me or can i get rid of some of the stuff i have downloaded after i have moved it?
Please be as basic as pos as i am very new to this stuf and also very old. Old dog new tricks etc. Thanx

As with all new things: Read the manual!!

Browse through the options and change some settings.

Adjust your settings to limit the number of slots (simultaneous downloads by one user) to 3 for instance; exclude freeloaders by increasing the number of shared files required and setting the tolerance to zero; and activate the option to erase finished downloads.

Posting in the correct forum would also help. Which program are you using? This forum caters for many gnutella programs.
