Default National Downloads

Hi!
I was wondering if anyone could help me:
I have illimited bites that I can download from national fonts... in my previous P2P program I could edit the program's options so that only national downloads could be made...
Can I do that with LimeWire?
Thanks and sorry for my english

Which gnutella program are you refering to? I believe with the earlier versions of LimeWire that was an option. But in the later designs it's set to do this automatically giving "some" small preference to local hosts. But obviously this doesn't mean you will only get local content. I don't know about the other gnutella programs.

What I would try is to search for content you know is local. Then once found, browse that person's files/direct connect with them if you can. You could keep a record of local hosts you know have content you're interested in. eg: I've been downlding exclusively from the same host for the past week. And I still have around 80 large files queued up. lol

Phex "might" have more abilities in this regard of connecting to local peers.

I'm not sure I understand . . . but

LimeWire does not use the Nationality setting, because it was causing problems.

What language do you prefer?

Maybe this link will help http://www.gnutellaforums.com/forumd...?s=&forumid=76

I'm not sure I understand either, but Phex does show the nationality of the hosts of most of the search results ( It helps to be an expert on world flags!)
