I usually use Limewire @ my office @ work. And for some strange reason it slowed the rest of the computers in the building down. The server guy found out that I was running limewire through my computer. He told me it had to do something with the bandwith. Anyways how would I be able to use Limewire and not slow any other computers in the building?

Ask the admin how much bandwidth you can use, then set the LW bandwidth options for uploads and downloads to that amount.

I have a dialogue that comes to my desktop after reboot.It says that the downloaded file is either invalid or corrupted.It says to try to download again or copy and paste,send it to bugs@limewire.com.I have tried all the following and when Isend email I get a mail demon.Help me.

Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 in Fixes for Limewire (sample at bottom of page.)
