Unhappy Scary Happening

Something really strange and kind of scary happened tonight. I went to search 'Top 40' which is in the 'genre' list and my processor started to make this alarming random loud beeping noise. Of course I logged off immediately and it did stop. Out of curiosity I tried the same thing again and yes....it happened again. What is this?..............Is this to stop us from 'stealing' from the Top 40?.........Very Scary

processors do NOT make any noise at all..unless they are actually physically burning up, then you might hear some crackles and pops, and anyways your MoBo would short out before that happened....

what it was I don't know, but certainly NOT your cpu
