Man, I wouldn't even buy that one, much less try to use it unregistered.
When it came preinstalled on my computer the first thing I did was remove it.

There's free alternatives out there that are better than that, Nortons and ZoneAlarm. ;]

What I meant was none of those three is worth a minute of your time.
They aren't robust enough to work with LimeWire or BearShare.

For antivirus, I suggest AVG Free Edition and for a firewall try Sygate Personal Firewall.
Both are free and a lot more reliable under pressure.

I wouldn't get Norton if I were you. In my opinion it sucks.

We have McAfee Security Center. As far as I'm concerned it's worth the money and they often have deals for those who are registered with them. For example, my sister got 60% off of a two year subscription not too long ago. As for downloading it, I wouldn't. There are too many viruses lingering around so I recommend just buying it again. I hope this has helped.

yeh, you've been a great help, thanks. i guess i was just trying to save a penny, but you're right, it's to dodgy to take the chance at the end of the day. could end up costing me more than a years subscription, couldn't it. thanks alot.
