![]() Hi, i accidentaly downloaded a dodgy .exe file the other day (duh!) and now i have a hidden folder in my downloads which i only knew was there because it was listed in the Limewire library. Opening it up from there, i found it contained 276 applications that were all 228kb. i did delete them and also deleted the folder that this folder was in but as soon as i started downloading into another folder, it appeared again. As far as i know, there's been no negative effects on my computer but it's obviously not friendly. I've ran Ad-aware, spybot and AVG anti virus but none of them picked it up. I'm just wondering if anyone knows what it is or has any ideas on how to permanently delete it. thanks. ![]() |

![]() I think you should go to Norbiesworld (click on link). If you go to the site & follow the instructions for free computer help, Norbie will be able to help you to get rid of the virus ![]() You should also read through this WARNING: Viruses on the network you should be aware of |
