what are some secure, good p2p networks?

Can someone please recommend a p2p network besides MUTE that

1.Is secure so I will not be caught downloading\uploading
2.Has variety unlike MUTE

I have a US isp and own the account.

By the way, if they harvest my ip adress, what are they going to do-sue me or notifiy my isp to send a warning letter?
