:mad:ive got alktalk:bangh: now blocking p2p ive got a smartax mt882 modem any way i can get around it or do i need a new isp :confused: if so any recommendations im in the midlands

If your ISP is blocking P2P, you should get another...

Find it listed here for advice ISP's known to BLOCK or Filter p2p or specifically Limewire. But yes, another isp is an option. Unfortunately too many ISP's in UK now have anti p2p measures. You'd need to find one that does not shape p2p programs. Asking the ISP is not the way to find out though, they will very rarely tell you because they want your business.
