Smile Tired of LimeWire

Ok so I've downloaded LW for like the 50th time, and each time I have the same problem. I have Verizon DSL and I would like to be able to download files from LW. I know that Verizon is not going to help me because they said that they dont want me to download anything that can hurt my PC. But I still need to get to download. Can anyone help me to solve this problem. My pc is a dell and I run on Windows XP.

50 downloads!, sounds like a serious problem. Perhaps you should describe the problem. And from where are you downloading LW?

Use an other P2P application, such as Shareaza, Phex,... There are plenty of applications out there that are much better than LW...

Default I am a Newbie

As new member, the forum seems to be forcing me to make a post so I dont get all the intro's about rules? I know the better place is supposed to be new mrmber intros but I'm in this post (not quite sure how?) so my apologies for rambling.

I've downloaded and installed both LW and FW in Win Vista machine successfully with no problems. I even seem to be able to run the two simultaneously downloading to the same saved directory.

Have you tried using a thumnail usb drive to get a clean copy of download instal file from friend or wifi internet cafe. Maybe your ISP is interfering with download of instal program. My 2 cents worth which aint much cuz I dont know much. WJ

Ok the problem is this I have Verizon DSL, and since then when I try to download songs from LW I always see the globe being blocked by a brick wall. I'm in the U.S. and I really dont understand why this is happening.

I'm tired of Limewire-in fact I'm going to stop using them after I post this. I looked up adult videos and was disgusted to find child porn on this site. WTF is the matter with you people f***in sickos. Why is someone not monitoring this stuff. I'm even going to go further and see what can be done about getting them shut down until something is done about it.

This is the Funniest thing I've heard in a good long time. LOL

Obviously You don't have a Clue about what P2P is all about and what part Limewire plays.

You might consider doing a little Research before signing up to a Public Forum and Totally making a FOOL out of yourself, as you have already done.

Real quick here...LW has NO central servers, which means they have absolutly NO control over what is Shared. Thats where the Gnutella Network comes in.

Like I said ^^. Do some homework before posting some Stoopid Crap that you don't have a Clue about.

Good Luck on your Mission to get LW and the Gnutella Network shut down. (another ridiculously Stoopid comment). But Hilarious. Thanks for the Laughs to get this day started.

I see your from Ohio...HAHAHA That Explains Everything.
