Confused ISO upload
Hi there!

  • Does the network allowed ISO files?
  • ISO files over 1GB?
  • How come I cannot find my files when I am searching for them?

sure, just about any type of file can be shared, and I'm pretty sure there is no size limit...

files in your shares are not supposed to show up on your searches...when they do it is considered a bug...

I do remember talk of a 2GB size limit way back when, but I don't know if it's still the case.

no the limit is bigger than 2 GB, I share larger. The size was increased a few years ago I believe.

Nobody should be able to find their own shared files. LW was not designed to find a user's own files. If someone has downloaded your file and is sharing the file then you should be able to find it in a search however, this will be limited by LW's search horizon. A person cannot search 100% of the network. This is why using the Get More Results option can help.

lol I'm sure it's none taken. Most of the staff here use mainly other means of sharing and why not use different protocols/program to accomplish different tasks.
