Limewire on my Windows Vista Hmm...lets see here, where to start..... Ok so I try to download the reccomended Limewire and it will just sit there saying connected to 1 host and not download. So I download the offline installer. Once I'm finished, I turn off my firewall and open Limewire. It will load up but wont connect. This is not the only thing it does. Also, when I try to connect to the Limewire forums or anything with it open, I guess the internet messes up. I cannot connect to anything or even get on any instant messengers. Does anyone have any solutions? Please note that it only acts like it has no connection when I have Limewire open, but after I exit out, about a minute later the connection comes back. It works perfect on my computer in the living room with Xp Home and my older computer with Winxp Professional. ~AJAX Also, I have already downloaded in installed Java. |

Do you have McAfee installed? If so, that could be the problem Check out these posts http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showpo...7&postcount=38 http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showpo...8&postcount=44 |
