Gnutella Forums - Limewire doesnt connect

Hi I have Limewire Pro 4.12.6 and I cannot get it to connect. I have just got a new PC with the following spec:

AMD Athlon (tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800 + 2.00 Ghz
1024 meg of Ram
160 gig hard drive
Windows Vista 32 bit

I open Limewire and do see the wall picture which suggests I'm being blocked by a firewall although on the advise of some other topics I have read I have removed Mcafee and just use windows firewall which has exceptions for the .exe file and the TCP and UDP port. Since removing Mcafee I don't get the message popping up saying "your computer does not appear to have an internet connection or maybe be being blocked by a firewall" etc I am just unable to connect.

I dont seem to be able to find an update to take my Limewire Pro to the lastest version but 4.12.6 worked fine a week ago on my old XP machine.

Please help!!!! I have read the other topics where users seem to be having the same problem although I cannot seem to get this working I've tried right clicking and "run as administrator" but no joy!
