Your post's been moved into the General Vista Support section;) Lots of people are using LW with Vista! If you read through the threads in this section, you'll find heaps of info to help.

LW works great with Vista so far. Does LW also have movie downlaods?

Only a newby could ask a question like that, Limewire does not host any sites that you can download music, games, movies or anything else from.

I suggest you find out what "Peer to Peer" means then you will understand where your downloads are coming from.

Newbie

Well, newbie does mean NEW, however I've had limewire about 3 yrs, I'm just new to the forums, and some seem to look down on new people here. This is the 2nd time I've felt like I'm useless here. You were new once also. ;)

Don't be so sensitive, the simple thing is that everyone can contribute and make the forum a better place.

The thing is, if you have used LW for three years then you must have an idea how this app works and therefore you must know that their are no sites to download from.

Putting all that aside, you certainly can help out other new LW users.

LW

Perhaps I just worded it wrong. I know how it works, I didn't look for sites, I understood someone to say you could also download movies from LW. Sorry!

Misunderstandings

Hi D

I think we have reached the point of our discussion and that is we sometimes do not think clearly enough about what we should write before we write it, and I have been guilty of this myself.

However, what I try to keep in mind is that no one can see inside my mind, no one on this forum knows me or my foibles so I try to write in plain simple English in order to put my point across. Writing in some form of short hand or how the thought occurs in my mind is open to misinterpretation and misunderstanding, just as how I misunderstood your first post.

So basically, if I offended you then that was not my intention but if I have jolted you into considering the reader before you start writing then I think my point has been made.

Hi,

You didn't offend me. I'm new, and will make mistakes. :laugh_2:
Thanks
