Preference Folder (otherwise known as LimeWire Folder) Vista users look here C:\Users\your\username\Appdata\Roaming\LimeWire If you have shown all hidden files you will see your appdata folder How to Show Hidden Files In Vista http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial130.html

I just wanted to say thank you to Grandpa for the help! I had problems getting connected to LimeWire for the past few weeks, and your above suggestion worked. Now, I can connect just as well as I did before. Thanks again! |

Im officially about 5 minutes away from throwing my laptop across the room at an innocent unsuspecting wall. i have vista. it worked. it worked well. then the connection went from 5 bars to 4, and down from there over a period of weeks. i would buy limewire pro in the hope that theyll fix the problem for me, but i dont see the point if the connection problem cant be fixed. |

Pro will NOT fix connection problems. If it will not connect properly with LW Basic, Pro will not help. I see this is your first post chloriform07. Perhaps you can go to the Connection Problems - Gnutella Forums section of forums & create a new thread & give these details: System details - help us to help you (click on blue link) & explain your problem. Remember to try these options: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connec...t-connect.html as sometimes one or a combination of these suggestions works. |
