Default Vista and LimeWire

I have no idea as I haven't been back on to the computer w/ Vista that I'm trying to run LimeWire (it's a friends computer) I suppose I need to uninstall/reinstall LimeWire and that's as much as I know at the moment... I will keep u posted as far as you're more recent posts... I'm not to that point yet! Ha!! Good luck to you!! Hopefully you can help me later if not vice versa.... LOL

Argh, I can't believe there's been no official address to the problem yet.

I'm just getting the 'need more sources' message for every song I look for....

How to find the apps folder is in the very first post of this thread, so there's that.

Also, if you're not using an Administrator User Account in Vista, you will probably have some problems. Mainly the whole one green bar of connection issue. Here's how I got past them.

- Uninstalled Limewire
- Changed the user accounts to Administrator
- Reinstalled Limewire
- Set up LW in each account
- Removed Administrator from the other accounts

Also, make sure you only have ONE firewall going. If you're using McAfee and Windows Firewall (for example), one needs to be disabled.

Good luck!
