Default Limewire & Vista (LW won't connect)

I have two identical computers, using the same router and ISP, the only difference is that one runs VISTA and the other runs XP SP2. The computers that runs on XP SP2 runs Limewire pro with no problems, but the computer with the VISTA will not connect. It says "connecting" but just stalls there and does not actually conect. I've checked the Firewall and I have Limewire as an exception. What else could be stopping me from connecting?

Since the two computers were identical except for the operating system I assumed that the problem was just that the operating system, but the deatials as best as I can give are as follows:

1. OS version? VISTA
2. What firewalls you have? What comes with VISTA
3. How much ram? 2046MB
4. Hard Disk space available? Disk 1 96 GB and Disk 2 101 GB
5. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.) ADSL
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers? Router Paradyne Model 6212-13-200-08A
7. Where are you trying to connect from (house, appartment complex, school, student accomodation, work, etc.)? Home Office
8. What version of LimeWire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version. Limewire 4.10.9 pro; Java 1.6.0_01
9. Who is your ISP provider (Internet Service Provider)? Cable & Wireless (Caribsurf)
10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there? I get the message "Your test worked"
11. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up. Yes the router shares the internet connection with three computers on LAN and one on wireless
12. Is this a your 1st try at LW or is this a new problem with an experienced user. New problem
13. Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface?YES

14. For those using a modem/router, how is your modem/router set up...are you port forwarding or is UPnP enabled? Do not know

I am also using Kyspersky anti-virus version 6.0.2.621 but as indicated this is also being used on the same set system but with the XP SP2.

Make sure that the Vista firewall is configured to allow LW.

Try this version of Java. Lots of people have had trouble connecting with the Java 1.6.0_01. Use the JRE offline installer & remove your curent Java version before you install this one.
Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11

If you still have trouble, try this Java version. Again, make sure that you use the JRE offline installer & remove your other Java before reinstalling.
Archive: Download Java Platform Standard Edition (Java SE) 6

Neither JAVA version changed the situation, still cannot connect. I've just noticed a message that comes up infrequently on my Kaspersky saying that Limewire can not connect to the server (then gives a series of numbers - looks like an ip address, though not the same every time) and asks that I allow an exception to avp.exe in my firewall but can not find this file on my system...even with a search, do you know what program this is?

It seems that avp.exe is a Kaspersky file.

avp.exe - avp - Process Information

Are you sure that Kaspersky doesn't have a firewall?
