Default Limewire Vista Java Problems

hey i just got a new windows vista computer and the first thing i wanted to do was download limewire and its not working. some kind of java problem it said? i know this is probably a noob question but can someone help me i'd really appreciate it.

when i try to install java
it says "Error- Failure setting files time/date stamp." anyone know what that means? then it says "error 1722 there is a problem with the windows installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor." ....?

please help
