Default can't play .mov files, now can't delete file

Very annoying, indeed. I finally managed to open one of these files using vlc, which normally doesn't fully work in my Vista, I must add.
Anyway, I found out that it was a porn video. I'm trying to delete it, or rename it, but no luck. And the worse thing, it is in my ''Shared'' folder, which means it is accessible by other users, isn't it?
I followed the advice I found here , with no luck whatsoever.

I am not quite sure if this is the place where my post belongs, forgive me if I did something wrong. This is my first post and I can assure you I have no intention of breaking some kind of rule. A lot of people seem to have a similar problem and I'm really confused as to where my post fits.

Thank you in advance.
