Downloading mpg with vista?

i am unable to download mpg and mpeg movie files at all. it goes through saying x hosts tried...then it says need more sources.. for every and all video downloads. applications pictures and all of the rest works(i tested to see if those worked). its only recently that ive started having this problem on my local network...

whenever i can connect its always 0kbps.. this is for any and all movie files...
