 Limewire does not connect Limewire signal (bars) just have one green, but my internet connection is running at excellent. Wall in front of globe, but I have Limewire listed as exemption. I'm running windows vista. 3.07GB Ram.....160GB HDD. Limewire 4.12.15 ...Limewire was running when I first Installed (very slowly), At the time I ws using a public network. | Same problem Vista Home Premium Mcafee security center 2G ram 97 gig available DSL Wireless router; Siemens Speedstream 6520 Home LW 4.12.15 Java 1.6.0_01 Epix ISP(allows P2P) Test worked Not sharing computer This is new problem w. new computer Mcafee Yes, brick wall is there USA I tried EVERYTHING!  |

| Hi mac67... A few things with your set up need attention... Firstly Vista-limewire-McAfee don't run well together, there are a few things you can try... The tech from McAfee has recently given us this advice to pass on to McAfee users... http://www.gnutellaforums.com/278483-post16.html These where the previous fixes we advised McAfee users... http://www.gnutellaforums.com/genera...-solution.html http://www.gnutellaforums.com/258193-post45.html Your modem/router also has a Nat firewall and may need to be port forwarded... These are your instructions... Port Forwarding for the Siemens Speedstream-6520 Try those fixes first and if you still have problems we will look into your version of Java...
