Default Confused (Can't connect)

limewire will not connect i have read alot of the other post and am still confused. can u please walk me through what needs to be done to get it working the following is my system info:

1.os version- windows vista
2. Firewall- webrootspy sweeper , trend micro antivirus 2007
3. Ram- 2038 mb
4.229 gb free space
5. Broadband connection
6.lynksys wireless router
7. connecting from home
8. have Limewire Pro 4.12.15
Java 1.6.0_01
9.isp- Unite
10. The test says "Your test worked"
11. We have a wireless router that is connected to a laptop as well as this desktop.
12.This is a brand new comp. We had limewire working great on the old comp .
13. There is a brick wall in front of the globe icon

If you could help I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Could you tell me the model number for your Linskys router so I can get the instructions you need, as many of them have Nat Firewalls and you will need to Port forward to let limewire through...

i have a linksys wireless-G broadband router model# WRT54G that we up graded for windows vista and a wireless-G adapter model # WUSB54GC thank you and i dont know what port forward means so walk me through please. I appreciate it.

Ok here are your instructions to port forwarding, don't forget the static iP part it is very important...
