Default Where am I going wrong?

Can someone help me please? I have read many of your great posts, and tried to get LW to work. Behind a firewall and can't get out. Have even turned off ZoneAlarm and still couldn't connect.

1. OS version? Vista Business (32 BIT)
2. What firewalls you have? Vista and ZoneAlarm (Vista disconnected and ZoneAlarm figured from post here)
3. How much ram? 2 gig
4. Hard Disk space available? 180 gig
5. Connection type? cable
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers? ARRIS
7. Where are you trying to connect from ? Home
8. What version of LimeWire (LW) & Java do you have?
LW - 4.14 Pro Java 1.6.0_2
9. Who is your ISP (Internet Service Provider)? Comcast
10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there? Test Worked
11. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? No
12. Is this a your 1st try at LW or is this a new problem with an experienced user.1st try (Although feel like I've hit that brick firewall!)
13. Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface? Yes

14. For those using a modem/router, how is your modem/router set up...are you port forwarding or is UPnP enabled? ?
15. What security programs are you using (antivirus etc)? Some people might not be aware that their security suite includes a firewall ZoneAlarm-configured according to several posts here.
16. What country are you living in? Sometimes there are ISPs with the same name in more than one country (eg Clearwire in the USA & also in Ireland).USA

Thank you & bhappy!

Default same problem!!

ive been combing the message boards for days now and have tried EVERYTHING suggested. I have pretty much the same configurations as the user above and keep being firewalled in limeware (i use the free zone alarm firewall). I've deleted the pref folder, downloaded the new java, checked my router, disabled zone alarm etc. im going crazy!!

has anyone come across any potential new solutions? thx!!!!!

Hi Bhappy, Looks like your router MIGHT have to be portforwarded. Not sure of the model # on yours but this is what I found. See Link.

PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall.

hope this helps.

Remoc;
I checked out portforward.com and it listed the ARRIS TM501. I have the TM502 so I didn't pursue the software.
Thank you for your help!
