Vista frustration, can't locate files.

Have tried to burn CD's as I was doing when using XP. This new computer with Vista doesn't let me use any burning program as I can locate the files. When I locate some to add its says that they could not be found where it said they where...Please help me......i'm so frustrated!!! Thanks
