Default Help, new problems, old user(1 Green Bar)

I've been trying to get Limewire going since I bought it. I enter my keywords and get no reply for my searches. I've gone through the firewall stuff & made the appropriate "exceptions" in my security program (Trend Micro) and it still only has 1 bar and still says "starting connection." Please respond. I emailed yesterday, but haven't gotten a reply.

Just check that you have configured your Trend correctly with these instructions...
Port Forwarding for the Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security

Also your Router has a Nat Firewall within, so you will need to Port Forward to allow Limewire...
These are your instructions...
Port Forwarding for the Linksys WRT54GS

If you still have problems after all of that...

Try uninstalling all versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....
Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11

Then try deleting your preference folder/s...
