Cant connect
 

Hi everyone.This is my problem. I have installed the latest versions of limewire pro & Java. it all opens ok but starting connection stays red bar the first dot. i have uninstalled and re installed both several times. I have 2 gig ram 50 gig free space vista home billion route modem all updates performed. I have a second computer with xp home hooked up to the same modem and it works fine on it. i tried it on my new computer first before the xp one and it would not work. I have no idea so would be thankful for any advice. Thanks

I'm also having trouble connecting. I have LimeWire Basic installed on my Vista machine. I've opened it and downloaded before on this machine. However, tonight it keeps freezing up when I open it. It gets as far as, "Loading Digital Audio Access Protocol", then freezes. How do I fix this?

Try these fixes...
Try uninstalling all versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....
Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11

Also try deleting your preference folder/s...
