Default Limewire, Windows Vista, McAfee

Hello,
I downloaded Limewire yesterday and I Immediately starting having problems with it. Initially it wouldn't connect and after several attempts it finally connected, allowing me to download 2 songs, and then froze. Ever since then it no longer connects and needs to be shut down because it stops responding. I currently have windows vista and mcafee on my computer. There is no where I can access an area on mcafee to edit ANYTHING so I don't know how to allow limewire ports and I don't know what is wrong. ANY advice would be greatly appreciated.
