Default Limewire shuts down after vista update

I've been running Limewire fine for about a month on this computer. After Vista updated itself limewire would start up, load completely and I would have about enough time to close the startup "tips" before the console would close. However the processes would not close nor could I force them to close. I did a system restore and it worked fine until I let the computer update again.. Anyone else have this problem?...
-Limewire 4.14.8.1
-windows vista home premium 32 bit

Yeah I did that... I was on the phone with microsoft support for over 3 hours changing privileges, reinstalling java, reinstalling limewire, having it run in xp sp2 compatibility mode... Microsoft wanted to talk to Limewire but Limewire doesn't have a customer service number I guess..

You could try rolling back your Java version...
Uninstall all versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....

Also try deleting your preference folders...
