![]() First thing you need to do is determine which firewall you want to use and disable the other two. Having more than one firewall will cause them to conflict with each other. You need to allow Limewire full access through which ever one you decide to use. Instructions to Portforward your router. Port Forwarding for the Linksys BEFSR41v2. ![]() well both zone alarm and windows firewall are both running, and both have exceptions for lime wire to allow full access. i attempted port forwarding, but i know that you cannot use a dynamic ip, so you must set up static ip... I did this on my laptop, but its not setup for static ip on the router configuration.. does the router also need a static ip to be setup? thirdly im pretty sure its not my ISP, as i said in the post i have another computer on my home network which connects with lime wire with no problems and have downloaded files successfully. |
