Default Please help me! Connection Problem!

So my computer is Windows Vista system and I downloaded Limewire a couple weeks ago and it was working fine.

Today I tried opening it and it stays stuck on the pop up that asks to upgrade to Limewire Pro? The one with Yes Later and stuff like that. I saw another thread like this that said to uninstall Java and reinstall...but that did not work!!

PLEASE help me it would be VERY MUCH appreciated.

Did you install this version of Java (JRE offline installer) & remove any other Java versions before installing this one?
Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11

Also try deleting LW's preferences folder when LW's properly closed. See point 3 here & also point 2 if you've used older versions of LW in the past (there could be a folder in either location).
Fixes for LimeWire
This will kill all of your settings within options, you'll have to go back through afterwards & reset things. If you're not sure of your settings, go through LW's tools > options & write them all down, so that you can reset things later.

If that doesn't help, try reinstalling LW. When you click to download LW & the dialog box pops up, cancel that...you'll see an option to download the offline installer

You might not have a folder called .limewire, that's the location of the preferences folder in much older versions of LW. Delete the folder called LimeWire, within Application Data. Remember it's hidden by default.
