Reading all the posts, nothing seemed to work. But here's what I did that seemed that worked for me, good luck!

Vista Ultimate:

1)Linksys firewall, have pnp enabled and "allow other users to make configuration changes". (reset these after everything is working)

2)windows firewall off, zone alarm firewall off

3)with limewire not running (not even in the background) go to Program Files/Limewire/.NetworkShare and run the Limewire executable. It will give errors at some point, click ignore on those.

this worked or me, then I want back an enabled firewalls.

EDIT: this was after doing that "java" revision....
