Default I Can't Connect (from school accomodation)

Help I can't connect to limewire it just says it is currently connecting to the internet. If you can help me it would be great. Thanks here are my answers to your questions.

1. Windows Vista
2. Just Windows firewall but it has an exception for LW.
3. 2GB
4. 80GB
5. Cable
6&7. I'm living in student accomodation so im just connecting from my laptop into the wall.
8. LW 4.14.8
Java 1.6.0
9.
10.It cannot display the page
11. No
12. I Used it last year but that was in a house using a different PC
13. Yes
15. avast version 4.7
16. Ireland

I don't think you will have much luck connecting, most schools don't allow p2p, so they block it..This can also apply to accommodation...Is there anyone that you live with or next to that can connect ??

No I live in a block of student apartments on my own, is there any way I could connect via a proxy or anything????? Thanks

Yea, Thats what wrong I brought my laptop down to an internet cafe and it connected no problem, does any one know of anyway to connect in my accomodation?????
